Record #202250:

Reconstruction of palaeo-ice sheets - inversion of their glacial geomorphological record / Johan Kleman, and 5 others.

Title: Reconstruction of palaeo-ice sheets - inversion of their glacial geomorphological record / Johan Kleman, and 5 others.
Author(s): Kleman, Johan.
Date: 2006.
Publisher: Oxford: Blackwell
In: Glacier science and environmental change. (2006.),
Abstract: Discusses nature of glacial inversion problem, which is concerned with deciphering ice sheet evolution through time, in contrast to genetic problem, deciphering changes in landforms. Emphasis is on frozen-bed preservation of older landscapes, and recent discovery of ice-stream networks in previously glaciated areas. Applies inversion model to northern Keewatin and northern Fennoscandia.
