Abstract: Presents results of bibliometric survey based on collection of dissertations on Arctic research in US and Canada in ProQuest Dissertations and Theses. Finds that number of doctoral dissertations on Arctic topics has increased annually, and that institutions adjacent to Arctic have contributed greatest amount of Arctic research.
