Abstract: | International workshop report on unusual conditions in Bering Sea during summers of 1997 and 1998 which included extensive die-offs of seabirds, unusually low fish stocks, warm sea surface temperatures and altered atmospheric and ocean current conditions. Research in Bering Sea is vital for effective management of living marine resources which have direct influence on economic and social life of region. |
