Potential of the study of Antarctic birds for assessing climate change in the Antarctic Peninsula / Andrés Barbosa.
Title: | Potential of the study of Antarctic birds for assessing climate change in the Antarctic Peninsula / Andrés Barbosa. |
Author(s): | Barbosa, Andrés. |
Date: | 2007. |
Publisher: | Brussels: European Commission |
In: | Polar environment and climate : the challenges. Conference proceedings : international symposium, Brussels 5-6 March 2007 : European research in the context of the International Polar Year. (2007.), |
Abstract: | Current information on effects of climate change on Antarctic fauna, particularly birds, is very fragmented although some adverse effects on krill population have already been observed. European Union should develop network of research teams to investigate Antarctic bird ecology. |
