Record #202113:

Impact of climate change on Southern Ocean sink for CO₂ and marine ecosystems / Corinne Le Quéré.

Title: Impact of climate change on Southern Ocean sink for CO₂ and marine ecosystems / Corinne Le Quéré.
Author(s): Quéré, Corinne Le.
Date: 2007.
Publisher: Brussels: European Commission
In: Polar environment and climate : the challenges. Conference proceedings : international symposium, Brussels 5-6 March 2007 : European research in the context of the International Polar Year. (2007.),
Abstract: Shift in polar winds in Southern Ocean threatens acceleration of surface ocean acidification with concomitant effects on marine ecosystems which form basis of marine food chain and influence availability of food resources. Greater knowledge in modelling of marine ecosystems is urgently required.
