Record #202110:

Exposure of brominated flame retardants in the Arctic food chain / Pim E.G. Leonards.

Title: Exposure of brominated flame retardants in the Arctic food chain / Pim E.G. Leonards.
Author(s): Leonards, Pim E. G.
Date: 2007.
Publisher: Brussels: European Commission
In: Polar environment and climate : the challenges. Conference proceedings : international symposium, Brussels 5-6 March 2007 : European research in the context of the International Polar Year. (2007.),
Abstract: Study of levels of brominated flame retardants (BFRs) in biota and in food chain dependent on aquatic environment. Comparisons were made between Western Scheldt estuary (Netherlands) and various Arctic areas and, while levels of compounds are currently lower in Arctic than in temperate regions, trend is for concentrations to increase.
