| Abstract: | Report on Arctic Coastal Observatory Network (ACCO/Net) project, which contributes to study of coastal erosion along permafrost Arctic coasts. Researchers from seven European Union (EU) countries are establishing network of observatories in forty-two key sites to monitor and record changes in coastal erosion, sea ice cover, wave action and effect of climate warming on permafrost. Integration of several scientific disciplines is required for success of this project. |
