Record #202099:
Polar stratospheric ozone loss: current understanding and links to changes in climate / Markus Rex.
Title: | Polar stratospheric ozone loss: current understanding and links to changes in climate / Markus Rex. |
Author(s): | Rex, Markus. |
Date: | 2007. |
Publisher: | Brussels: European Commission |
In: | Polar environment and climate : the challenges. Conference proceedings : international symposium, Brussels 5-6 March 2007 : European research in the context of the International Polar Year. (2007.), |
Abstract: | Examines methods of separating anthropogenic chemical ozone loss from natural variability in Arctic stratospheric ozone layer using statistical analysis. Results available for Arctic from 1991/2 and for Antarctic from 2003 suggest that fundamental lack of understanding of chemical processes still exists. Discusses research plans. |
Notes: | In: Polar environment and climate : the challenges. Conference proceedings : international symposium, Brussels 5-6 March 2007 : European research in the context of the International Polar Year / Damien Cardinal, Elisabeth Lipiatou, eds. |
