Abstract: Attempts to interpret meaning of human figurines constructed from human hair found by archaeologists under floor of two dwellings of ancient Eskimosy people in settlements of Paypel'gak and Ekven. Analysis suggests significance of images connected to ritual burial rites. Lists possible religious-mythological meanings and roles of figures connected to life and death of ancient Eskimosy.
