Record #201638:
The characteristics of gas hydrates recovered from the Mount Elbert Gas Hydrate Stratigraphic Test Well, Alaska North Slope / Hailong Lu, and 6 others.
Title: | The characteristics of gas hydrates recovered from the Mount Elbert Gas Hydrate Stratigraphic Test Well, Alaska North Slope / Hailong Lu, and 6 others. |
Author(s): | Lu, Hailong. |
Date: | 2011. |
Publisher: | [Amsterdam]: Elsevier |
Abstract: | Reports systematic analyses carried out on two gas hydrate-bearing sediment core samples recovered from Mount Elbert Stratigraphic Test Well. Finds that gas hydrate had developed in sediment pores in core samples, and that distribution of hydrate saturation implies that gas hydrate had experienced stepwise dissociation before it was stabilised by either liquid nitrogen or by pressurising gas. |
