Den brente jord. Dagboksopptegnelser fra krigen og kirkekampen i Nord-Norge / Wollert Krohn-Hansen.

Abstract: Starts with German invasion in 1940 and goes through war experiences of Bishop Krohn-Hansen in Troms, ending with scorched earth as Germans retreated, and miserable state of inhabitants. Sections cover also aspects of Church's struggle for rights of its members - virtually all Norwegians - under occupation, when both Norway and Germany had signed Hague Convention.
