| Abstract: | Describes model based on thermal evolution of sea ice thickness, where stage of melting is considered in relation to thickness and to rate of formation of melt water on surface of ice. In both formation and melting stages, constraints of marine environment are taken into account. Model is analyzed, and its parameters identified and tested using sampling distributions of ice cover thickness in Sea of Japan. |
