Record #200983:

ICES report on ocean climate 2011 / Stephen R. Dye, Glenn D. Nolan, A. Beszczynska-Möller.

Title: ICES report on ocean climate 2011 / Stephen R. Dye, Glenn D. Nolan, A. Beszczynska-Möller.
Author(s): Dye, Stephen R.
Nolan, Glenn D.
Beszczynska-Möller, A.
Date: 2012.
In: ICES Cooperative Research Report. (2012.), Vol. 314 (2012)
Abstract: Presents data on observed temperature variability in the upper layers of North Atlantic (upper 1,000 m). Finds that upper layers of northern North Atlantic and Nordic seas were warm and saline in 2011, compared with long-term average. In north-western North Atlantic, warm water led to high ocean temperatures. Low sea ice extent and low number of icebergs were observed in Labrador Sea.
