Abstract: Reports that Inuit Circumpolar Conference (ICC) sent delegation to renew bonds with Russian Yuit (Yup'ik) in July 2012. Approximately 1,700 Yuit live in Chukotka in nine communities, where they have suffered through years of economic and political turmoil in Russia. In 2001, Canadian Inuit launched campaign to raise funds to supply essential items to impoverished Chukotkan Yuit.
