Abstract: | Number and intensity of cyclones passing over Pacific Rim in winter gradually increased during 1996-2009. Their trajectories became more zonal and hence area of maximum cyclonic intensity shifted from Bering Sea to Pacific Ocean. Establishes that with intensification of cyclonic activity over region, sea surface temperature in North Pacific, as well as Sea of Japan and Sea of Okhotsk, increased mainly in summer; in Bering Sea water temperature decreased in spring. |
