| Abstract: | Investigates and compares osctracod species diversity in selected inland-water habitats of Lapland and Poland, and assesses relationships between ostracod occurrence and abiotic environmental variables. Reports collection of 41 species, of which only 15 species were found in Lapland. Almost all species collected from Lapland sites were eurybiontic and no clear differences were found between ostracod assemblages inhabiting different types of habitat. |
