Abstract: Report on use of instrumentation to study snowpack and snow algae in Lassen Volcanic National Park (LVNP) California, in area of deep seasonal snow accumulation and snow algal bloom recurrence. Data obtained from LVNP can assist in understanding germination and lifecycles of snow algae at base of thick snowpacks.
