Abstract: Reports collection of six species of shrew (Sorex sp.) at single locality on Seward Peninsula. Notes high sympatric diversity within single mammalian genus. Phenomenon at high latitudes highlights complex Arctic community dynamics that reflect significant turnover over time as consequence of environmental change.
