| Abstract: | Reports results of gamma spectroscopy of ten sediment cores taken from continental shelf in north-east Chukchi Sea. All cores collected show significant bioturbation, but some sedimentation patterns are preserved in many cores. Averaged sedimentation rates range from 0.02 to 0.25 cm year⁻¹, consistent with rates estimated from outer Chukchi continental shelf (0.06 to 0.075 cm year⁻¹) that were observed in other studies. |
