| Abstract: | Identifies geographical distribution of trace metals in surface and subsurface sediments of eastern Chukchi Sea. Determines background concentrations of trace metals in sediments and identifies anthropogenic inputs of metals to sediments. Assesses ecological implications of anthropogenic metals. Determines provenance of metals in sediments by identifying possible importance of Yukon River as key sediment source. |
