Record #200235:

A concept for autonomous and continuous observation of melt pond morphology: instrument design and test trail during the 4th CHINARE-Arctic in 2010 / Wenfeng Huang.

Title: A concept for autonomous and continuous observation of melt pond morphology: instrument design and test trail during the 4th CHINARE-Arctic in 2010 / Wenfeng Huang.
Author(s): Huang, Wenfeng.
Date: 2011.
In: Advances in Polar Science. (2011.), Vol. 22(4) (2011)
Abstract: Describes new melt pond investigation system, designed to determine morphological and hydrological features, and their evolution. System consists of three major parts: temperature-salinity measuring; surface morphology monitoring, and water depth monitoring. Deployment occurred during ice camp period of 4th Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition in summer 2010.
Notes:

Advances in Polar Science. Vol. 22(4) :273-280 (2011).
