| Abstract: | Calculates length of Late Pleistocene glaciers of Caucasus and altitude to which glacier tongues extended based on assumption that relationship between feeding area and length of modern glaciers is similar to that of older glaciations. Identifies four groups: hanging valley glaciers and simple valley glaciers, valley glaciers with multiple source areas, complex valley glaciers, and dendritic glaciers. |
