Record #200120:

Temperature biases in modeled polar climate and adoption of physical parameterization schemes / Xiying Liu, and 4 others.

Title: Temperature biases in modeled polar climate and adoption of physical parameterization schemes / Xiying Liu, and 4 others.
Author(s): Liu, Xiying.
Date: 2012.
In: Advances in Polar Science. (2012.), Vol. 23(1) (2012)
Abstract: Reports simulation of annual cycle of atmospheric variations for 1989 in Arctic, using Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model. Analyzes influences of land surface schemes, sea ice albedo, transformation processes between sea ice and water, and cloud microphysics. Model reproduced two cold centres over Arctic Ocean, with decreased surface air temperature.
