Abstract: | Examines ways in which tourism decision-makers and regulators in Nunavut view interactions of cruise ship tourism and climate change, challenges presented by those interactions, and opportunities available within context of change. Discusses findings from 31 semi-structured interviews conducted with federal government, Government of Nunavut, and industry personnel and managers involved in Nunavut's tourism industry. Major themes are growth and adjustment in cruise tourism industry stemming from climate change, and governance issues associated with these changes. |
