Record #199990:
Arctic sea ice forecasting experiments in the summer of 2010 / Qinghua Yang.
Title: | Arctic sea ice forecasting experiments in the summer of 2010 / Qinghua Yang. |
Author(s): | Yang, Qinghua. |
Date: | 2012. |
Language: | Chinese. |
In: | Chinese Journal of Polar Research. (2012.), Vol. 24(1) (2012) |
Abstract: | Reports Arctic sea ice numerical forecasting experiments in support of Chinese Arctic Research Expedition, summer 2010. Chooses regional Arctic configuration of MIT general circulation model as coupled ice-ocean model for forecasting se ice conditions in Arctic Ocean, Chooses numerical weather prediction of National Center for Environmental Prediciton Global forecasting System to represent atmospheric forcing. Tests two different, satellite-derived sea ice concentration products: Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer for EOS , and Special Sensor Microwave Imager. |
Notes: | Chinese Journal of Polar Research. Vol. 24(1) :87-94 (2012). English abstract. |
