Abstract: Outlines three different phases of artefact recovery from snow patches in mountain areas of central Norway. Also includes brief description of archaeological artefacts discovered at Seiland, Finnmark, northernmost finds in Norway to date. Seiland finds were recovered from sites lying at 700 m a.s.l., suggesting that further snow patch discoveries may be made at lower elevations in higher latitudes.
