Record #199897:
Helicopter electromagnetic sea ice thickness estimation: an induction method in the centimetre scale / Andreas Pfaffling.
Title: | Helicopter electromagnetic sea ice thickness estimation: an induction method in the centimetre scale / Andreas Pfaffling. |
Author(s): | Pfaffling, Andreas. |
Date: | 2007. |
In: | Berichte zur Polar- und Meeresforschung = Reports on Polar and Marine Research. (2007.), Vol. 553 (2007) |
Abstract: | Re-evaluates algorithms and approximations on which helicopter electromagnetics (HEM), accepted tool for calibration and validation of satellite ice thickness data, is based. Investigates influence of calibration, sensitivity, noise drift, a priori information, etc., with emphasis on effects on sea-ice thickness data retrieval. |
