Record #199897:

Helicopter electromagnetic sea ice thickness estimation: an induction method in the centimetre scale / Andreas Pfaffling.

Title: Helicopter electromagnetic sea ice thickness estimation: an induction method in the centimetre scale / Andreas Pfaffling.
Author(s): Pfaffling, Andreas.
Date: 2007.
In: Berichte zur Polar- und Meeresforschung = Reports on Polar and Marine Research. (2007.), Vol. 553 (2007)
Abstract: Re-evaluates algorithms and approximations on which helicopter electromagnetics (HEM), accepted tool for calibration and validation of satellite ice thickness data, is based. Investigates influence of calibration, sensitivity, noise drift, a priori information, etc., with emphasis on effects on sea-ice thickness data retrieval.
