Record #199801:

Sensitivity of the Greenland Ice Sheet to natural climate change during the last 10,000 years / Nicolaj K. Larsen, and 5 others.

Title: Sensitivity of the Greenland Ice Sheet to natural climate change during the last 10,000 years / Nicolaj K. Larsen, and 5 others.
Author(s): Larsen, Nicolaj K.
Date: 2010.
In: Polarforskningssecretariatet Årsbok = Swedish Polar Research Secretariat Yearbook. (2010.), Vol. 2010 (2010)
Abstract: Outlines project to investigate response of Greenland Ice Sheet to natural climate change, based on sediment samples from threshold lakes in west Greenland. Data from south Greenland in 2008 and 2009 suggested that Greenland Ice Sheet was less sensitive to climate change than previously assumed. However, preliminary results from 2010 field work in Godthåbsfjorden, west Greenland, show that ice sheet was more sensitive and was retracted behind present ice margin for most of time during last 10,000 years.
