| Abstract: | Describes mounded drifts and contourites that characterise Late Neogene succession of west Greenland continental margin in north-eastern Baffin Bay. These ocean current deposits are observed over two stratigraphic levels: above Miocene horizon and above incised conformity of probable Early Pliocene-Late Miocene age. Upper Miocene unit displays 500-1,200 m thick mounded sediment prism, covering area of 100 x 150 km across central shelf. |
