Record #199693:

Twentieth-century changes in the thickness and extent of Arapaho Glacier, Front Range, Colorado / Benjamin D. Haugen, and 3 others.

Title: Twentieth-century changes in the thickness and extent of Arapaho Glacier, Front Range, Colorado / Benjamin D. Haugen, and 3 others.
Author(s): Haugen, Benjamin D.
Date: 2010.
In: Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research. (2010.), Vol. 42(2) (2010)
Abstract: Describes changes in Arapaho Glacier from 1900 to 2005 as determined using historical maps, aerial photography, and field surveys using ground penetrating radar (GPR) and Global Positioning System data. Decline in thinning rate since 1960 is associated with retreat of glacier into upper cirque.
