Abstract: | Investigation into First Nations and Métis turnout and voting patterns in Canadian federal elections, using original quantitative survey data collected in northern Saskatchewan. Local contexts and individual histories were shown to be as important as socio-demographic and resource variables in both understanding and increasing aboriginal federal voting levels. |
