| Abstract: | Summarises existing information and reports new data on extralimital stands of balsam poplar (Populus balsamifera) from Arctic ecozone in north-eastern mainland NWT. These occurrences extend geographical and ecological range of species into mainland Canadian Arctic. Balsam poplar is known in four sites: two in Tuktut Nogait National Park, and two along Hornaday and Brock rivers, just beyond north-western park boundary. |
