| Abstract: | Presents observations of isotope fractionation during formation of congelation ice. Ice formed is isotopically heavier than original water, with difference in δ¹⁸O not less than 1-3 per mil. For freezing of closed volume of water, with removal of ice formed, difference in δ¹⁸O values of ice and water reaches 4 per mil. |
