| Abstract: | Presents results of comprehensive studies of man-made landscapes in areas of tundra and forest tundra of North-Eastern Yakutiya, in particular lower reaches of Yana river. Discusses effect on environment and biota of intensive development of mineral resources. Characterises condition of vegetation, population of invertebrates, birds and small mammals of natural and technogenic landscapes. Notes contribution of such studies to management of vulnerable habitats in northern regions disturbance of natural landscape. |
