Record #198015:

Voles are attracted to fertilizer in field experiments / Michael A. Treberg, Kate Edwards, Roy Turkington.

Title: Voles are attracted to fertilizer in field experiments / Michael A. Treberg, Kate Edwards, Roy Turkington.
Author(s): Treberg, Michael A.
Edwards, Kate.
Turkington, Roy.
Date: 2010.
In: Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research. (2010.), Vol. 42(1) (2010)
Abstract: Investigates abundance of voles, or vole nests, in four different experiments in boreal forest understorey in south-western Yukon, to test whether voles are attracted to fertiliser. Results demonstrate positive relationship between fertiliser and voles, though it remains unclear whether voles are attracted to fertiliser alone or to the higher-quality food it produces.
