Abstract: Presents measurements made at 2,450-m altitude in spring 2010. Identifies several peaks of nssCa²⁺ and Na⁺, and dates layers of high nssCa²⁺ using Kosa data. Attributes high levels of nssCa²⁺ and nssSO₄²⁻ to air mass transported from arid areas and passing over industrial regions of Asian continent. Reports concentrations of formaldehyde (FA) and hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) in snow cover much lower than those in rain water and plain site during warm months. H₂O₂ concentrations were higher in new snow than in lower snow layers. Suggests that post-depositional modification of H₂O₂ is more significant than that of FA. Reports FA concentrations in snow correlated with those of anthropogenic components.
