| Abstract: | Describes testing in December 2009 of new mobile anti-avalanche system. System includes 40-m external suspension bracket connected to helicopter and uses explosive 2:3 hydrogen-oxygen mix. Despite complicating meteorological conditions during testing, several dangerous areas were processed, 50 shots made, and several artificial avalanches triggered. Concludes system completely adaptable to conditions in Russia. |
