Abstract: Reports development of 12 jack pine (Pinus banksiana) tree-ring chronologies from sites on rock outcrops near Yellowknife, NWT. Average chronology length is approx. 180 years spanning period 1825-2005. All of site chronologies are significantly correlated with June, total May-June, June-July, and June-August precipitation, although relations with single month of June are strongest.
