Abstract: Investigates characteristics of temporal variations in river discharge and suspended sediment load over hydrological year (frozen period of October to late April, snowmelt period of late April to early June, and glacier-melt period of June to September). Quantifies contributions of discharge and sediment load from glacierised regions and non-glacierised regions to those of Tanana River using water tank model and empirical discharge-sediment load rating curves (L-Q equations).
