Abstract: Presents results of study of specific composition and paragenesis of pyrope-almandine garnets in alluvial sediments from Muna-Markha interfluve drainage area in Yakutiyan diamondiferous province. Concludes that majority of orange pyrope-almandine garnets were generated from kimberlites with varying content of disintegrated crustal material.
