Abstract: Reports results of recent study demonstrating that 500,000-square mile Canadian Arctic Archipelago is major contributor to sea-level rise. Between 2004-2009, region lost equivalent of three-quarters of water in Lake Erie, as unusually high temperatures caused rapid increase in melting of glacier ice and snow.
