Abstract: Describes ethnological material in Lucien M. Turner Collection at Smithsonian Archives and National Anthropological Archives. Material from northern Quebec portion of collection suggests that Turner produced remarkably sensitive descriptions of Inuit and Innu cosmologies, language and way of life.
