Abstract: Describes Yukon Alpine Centennial Expedition, mass outdoor adventure to celebrate Canada's Centennial in 1967. Funded by federal, provincial and territorial governments, expedition involved more than 300 mountaineers and resulted in 33 ascents in St Elias Range, including 27 first ascents. Expedition named many geographic features and left imprints on cultural landscape.
