Abstract: | Assesses role of three different eddy types in restratification process using idealised model of Labrador Sea that simulates restratification season. Compares model results with observations using theoretical estimates of restratification timescales derived for eddy types. Also uses timescales to explain contradictory conclusions in previous studies on respective roles of eddy types. |
