Record #197358:

Heat-induced temperature enhancement in the polar summer ionosphere / Bin Xu, and 6 others.

Title: Heat-induced temperature enhancement in the polar summer ionosphere / Bin Xu, and 6 others.
Author(s): Xu, Bin.
Date: 2011.
In: Advances in Polar Science. (2011.), Vol. 22(2) (2011)
Abstract: Examines observation data recorded by European Incoherent Scatter Scientific Association in Tromsø, Norway, in August 2009, to determine heating effects in polar summer ionospheric modification experiments. Identifies two types of increases in electron temperature: large relative increases in narrow range near 150 km, and greater absolute increases in wider range at 150-400 km.
