Abstract: Explores value of Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) Collection as resource for historic preservation planning, compliance and education. Argues that importance of data set will only increase with passing of time from original archaeological field investigations. Data will be relevant to new field investigations, and also to tribal cultural preservation programmes, government compliance, and native education programmes.
