Abstract: | Documents exceptional research partnership developed between Vuntut Gwitchin Government (VGG) in Old Crow, Yukon, and group of scientists examining northern food security and health as part of larger multidisciplinary 2007-08 International Polar Year research programme. Legacy of research collaboration includes numerous results-based outputs for range of stakeholders, community-based environmental monitoring programme, and improved relationship between scientists and local communities. |
