| Abstract: | Discusses Palaeozoic motion of future Arctic continents as presented in animation in accompanying CD-ROM. Animation shows snapshots of motion of tectonic blocks from 550-520 Ma in 3-million-year steps. Locations of blocks are controlled mainly by palaeomagnetic pole values for blocks tied to known geological events, particularly three main Arctic orogenies: Scandian Caledonian, Ellesmerian, and Uralian. |
