Abstract: Overview of cooperation between British Meteorological Office and Deutsche Seewarte in collecting synchronous observations at noon G.M.T of barometric pressure, air temperature, and wind frequency from October 1901 to March 1903 in Southern Hemisphere. Lists participating vessels, observatories and meteorological stations, and discusses conclusions to be drawn on paths of cyclonic depressions of Southern Ocean; anticyclones of sub-tropical belt; and rate of travel of cyclonic depressions.
