Foxe circumnavigated Hudson's Bay before retreating, while James became ice-bound during winter of 1631, losing several members of his crew before retreating to England in 1632. Includes accounts of earlier voyages in search of Northwest Passage by Frobisher, Davis, Hall, Hudson, Button, Bylot and Baffin. |
